When you really think about it, life is a sum of experiences.
Small or big interactions everyday. Some are challenging, some mundane and others are what I refer to as the nectar.
It's those moments where you are pleasantly surprised, find yourself laughing out loud, or happy to be around someone who's energy lifts you up. I think that putting a smile on someone's face or making someone feel good about themselves, is the way to go about your day.
Going on a search for the best choices for you is my passion. I travel everywhere to find unique, solid and wearable pieces. Pieces that will last in your closet for a long time. The clothes you buy from us should be an investment in yourself. The connections that Kristen and I have with you, hearing what you like, want and enjoy, helps me make the right choices when I buy. Many of you I've come to know on a personal level and I think of you while I'm out there buying - I am the matchmaker between the extensive options out there and YOU.
Having the freedom to bring you the best and curate a space where you can explore, experience the ambiance with all your senses and find what you are looking for, is something that I've always wanted to do. It is my nectar. My connections with you have enriched my life beyond my work.
So when you walk into our store or check out the website we carefully curate for you, I hope that we add to the nectar of your day. I hope it's a place where you can kick back and find something for yourself or find the perfect gift for that special friend. I know you found us for a reason and that you feel the same about quality, sustainability and function.
We are coming into our sixth year anniversary with so much gratitude for you. See details below - I hope you save the date and join us in celebration for this great milestone.
Here's to having more nectar in our lives.
Cozy Up with New Arrivals
It all started with the son of a Parisian aristocrat & JFK...
" I usually do intermittent fasting ( 8/16 ) so I don't really have breakfast. If I do have it, I would most likely make my own power drink (I'll share one on my next newsletter), coconut yogurt with organic berries, or this recipe below would be one of my favorites." -Ayellet.
Quinoa Porridge with Fried Apple
Providing a great deal of plant-based proteins as well as various vitamins and minerals, quinoa is the perfect way to start your morning. Apples are high in dietary fiber (like pectin) to keep the digestive track healthy. Vitamin C and phytochemical in apples also work to boost the immune system.
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
4 1/2 oz Quinoa
1 cup Almond Milk
2 tbsp Almonds
2 tbsp Coconut Oil
1. Cook the quinoa with almond milk over low heat, stir until porridge-thick consistency.
2. Fry the apple slices in the coconut oil.
3. Serve the porridge with the fried apple slices and chopped almonds on top. You can add shaved organic coconut and a little coconut sugar on top.
