Hello Everyone,

Throughout the years I have lived in different spaces and countries. Regardless of where I was, I have always enjoyed designing and decorating the space I'm in. I love an empty canvas and the thrill of "there's so much I can do with this space."

In the process of finding what works for you - you should look for a mix of function as well as pleasure. My home makes me feel energized and calm at the same time. It is within us all to create a sanctuary for ourselves - we just have to look inward and ask - "what is important to me?"

When decorating your home, look for that sweet spot of recognizing the people you share the space with - respecting their taste and voice without loosing your own. It can be tricky and challenging, but it is necessary in order to maintain harmony. When we allow each other to have a voice, we are displaying an act of generosity and love.

For most of us, our taste and budget will change with time. As the years go by we grow and evolve, as should the spaces we live in.

We can assist you with your entire home or with just one piece of home decor. Rue has extensive resources to suit your taste. We can find you that one-of-a-kind piece, an antique, or a fresh new piece that you won't see everywhere. If it is not in the store, we can get it for you! My team and I are looking forward to collaborating with you on any level with your design needs.

Below, you can take a peek into some of the work we've done and hopefully find inspiration for your own space. Now more than ever we need our homes to be a warm and happy place. There are no limits to what you can create at any budget.

I hope this gives you a fresh perspective and most of all encourages you to take the first step in bettering your space.

I would also like to take a moment and THANK YOU. Thank you for finding Rue Boutique a place of interest and for all your continued support.

Warmest Regards,
Ayellet

MEET THE CASSIDYS

Chris and John Cassidy are empty nesters who decided it was time to leave the suburbs and explore what the city has to offer.

Their new space in the Strip District, is sleek but was stark and they wanted to make it feel more cozy.

In the course of a few months, we started picking out pieces that the couple loved and expressed who they are together.

John had an extensive bottle collection he dug out from the back yard of his childhood home. The collection has a strong sentimental value to him and it reminds him of his childhood. It was important to him to showcase this collection. His wife Chris, recognized this and addressed it with me. We found him a glass and iron cabinet that suits his personality and showcases something dear to him.

Chris and I continued to work closely and found the perfect one-of-a-kind floor mirror, a console, art and home decor pieces to make the space feel like home.

Like many of us, John's work routine has recently changed. Now working part of the week from home, the couple wanted to create a permanent work area for him.

Working in tight corners, we had to get creative. A space for work was carved in the bedroom. We found John a unique mid-century work desk, that the couple adored.

Imagination and an open mind is key to reconfiguring almost any space.I think it's important to recognize that our spaces should work for us - not the other way around.

LAWRENCEVILLE TOWNHOSUE

Ed and Jim, the owners of a townhouse in Lawrenceville, have great appreciation for unique and one-of-a-kind pieces. They are frequent visitors at Rue and have picked many unusual furnishing and home decor pieces from us.

The dining table they purchased, is a unique refurbished piece I found in Texas.

The garden bench was a perfect compliment to the rustic table.
