Hi Everyone,

I was in my early 20's when I decided to book a trip to Athens, Greece and the Island of Mykonos. I was meeting a friend who was a doing security work for the Israeli Airlines and travelled often. He was always talking about the different countries he visited and how I absolutely must travel.

And so I did. Only one hour flight from Tel-Aviv, Greece was another world. Although similar in diet and climate, the culture and people were all different. Different and new in a good way. Through the day-to-day interactions with the locals, I opened my eyes to a different way of thinking, dressing and eating to name a few.

After that trip, I couldn't wait to go somewhere else, to meet different people, cultures, and see other landscapes. I found it fascinating and stimulating. I wanted to learn, experience and feel what it's like to be someone different than me. As the years went by, I had the privilege of visiting many different countries. It expanded my world and taught me about architecture, history and foods.

My girls also got the bug. Traveling since they were infants, they appreciate and see the world with an open mind. This may be a cliche, but there's no better school than the school of traveling and experiencing life in real time.  A good friend of mine said once that knowing she has a trip coming up, is the best feeling in the world.  It gives her something to look forward to.

I couldn't agree more. That rush is like no other.  My bucket list is still very long, and I look forward to my next adventure. So, to all the explorers and dreamers out there - where are you going next? Are you ready to pack up and getaway somewhere?  It doesn't have to be somewhere far or majestic, it can be anywhere where you can take a pause and appreciate the world and life from a different place.

Have a wonderful weekend! Come by and say hi; we have lots of new, bright spring pieces coming every day.

Best,

Ayellet.
