Happy New Year to all! ( Well, it's still January.....)A new decade has just begun and we are so excited to see what 2020 has in store for us.This past November Rue Boutique celebrated 3 years in business and we owe it all to you.

I've always believed that one should live their life doing something they enjoy. We should all wake up every morning with a sense of purpose - to create, to help, to give, and to mind ourselves without worrying about what everyone else is doing. That to me spells happiness. Everything begins and ends with our inner self - Mind, body and soul and the balance of it all.
I feel blessed that I am able to do the work that I do. The passion I have for it is a natural motivator to explore, discover, and push myself to become better and do better. I have learned though, that it is essential to balance work with rest and self-care. There were times in my life that I pushed myself too hard and didn't allow myself to recharge and take it all in. I was not present in my own life and was completely out of balance. Some of us do this all our lives and ultimately miss out. When I took a step back and slowed down, I become more creative, present and HAPPIER. Take time to be with yourself, know yourself and love who you are - flaws and all.

For a long time now, I have been wanting to create our own label for the store and this November we proudly launched RUE the label - the Essentials Collection, Escape Candle, and the Rue Market Bag. When researching to build the brand I had several standards that had to be met. It was important to me that all the materials and ingredients were ethically sourced, natural, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly.
What does this all really mean?
It means the process of ensuring that the products being sourced are obtained in a responsible and sustainable way, that the workers involved in making them are safe and treated fairly, and that environmental and social impacts are taken into consideration during the sourcing process.

The Essentials Collection:

Escape is our very own soy candle. It is made out of natural oils which include a saddle mix of musk, amber, jasmine & citrus. It's scent will fill your space with just the right amount of fragrance without being overpowering.
